Facelift

Ear Correction

By nature, our ears are slightly asymmetrical and unevenly shaped. Particularly pronounced asymmetries or, for example, so-called “sail ears” can become a stressful problem for young people. Even children sometimes suffer from teasing because of their protruding ears.

Lower Eyelid Lift

Before each treatment, consultation appointments are made without time pressure until there are no more open questions. During the consultation, Dr. Handl will address your personal concerns, explain the various options and inform you about the risks.

Buccal Fat Removal

A slim, contoured face stands for beauty, attractiveness and youthful appearance. Round chubby cheeks, hamster cheeks, cute attributes in children, can however be perceived as disturbing in adulthood.

Even slim people suffer from these pronounced fat deposits below the cheekbones. Unfortunately, no diets help here to get rid of the excess (buccal) fat.

Piercing Hole Removal

The ring in the eyebrow, the piercing in the nose, which seemed cool and trendy in younger years, often looks unprofessional and disturbing as an adult. While piercing holes in body tissue covered by mucous membranes (tongue, nipple & intimate piercings) usually close by themselves after removal of the jewelry, nose or upper and lower lip piercings must be surgically closed.

These piercing holes, which have become unwelcome and are usually small, can be easily removed with a scalpel.

Here, the skin tube that has formed along the narrow piercing channel after piercing is cut out completely. The narrow stitch channel is then completely sewn shut with a fine needle and thread. The thread dissolves itself. An inconspicuous scar remains.

There is also the possibility of removing scars that have developed after the “overgrowth” of a piercing hole. Dr. Handl will be happy to advise you here.

Eustachian Tube Correction / Ear Tunnel Correction

So-called ear tunnels are often worn for fashionable, stylish reasons. With the help of rings or so-called plugs, the earlobes are stretched. This stretching makes tunnels in the earlobe of several centimeters in diameter possible. But what to do if you have enough of the body jewelry or they become a problem in the new job?

It is possible to gradually reduce the size of very dilated ear tunnels by using smaller and smaller rings. However, depending on the age, this method is extremely tedious and promises only very limited success. In addition, a hole is always left behind.

Thus, in order to reconstruct an earlobe in its original shape, the intervention of a plastic surgeon is often unavoidable. In this procedure, the outermost layer of skin under the ring is removed and a wedge is incised in the lower part of the earlobe. The well-vascularized tissue is then redistributed, sculpted to the desired shape, and sutured together with ultra-thin, absorbable sutures.

The procedure usually takes place under local anesthesia, with twilight sleep if necessary.

After the ear tunnel correction, the wound is covered with an inconspicuous plaster bandage for a maximum of 14 days. The patient is immediately fit for social activities and can resume sports after 2 days. The external stitches are removed after a maximum of 14 days, and the internal stitches dissolve themselves after a few weeks. If the patient wants to have another ear piercing, this should be done at the earliest after 2 months and outside the reconstructed part.

Intimate surgery

Intimate surgery is a very private matter, a subject that is often still taboo. However, pain in the intimate area or dissatisfaction with the aesthetics of one’s own intimate area can become a psychological and physical burden and also severely restrict one’s sex life.

Even if the path to an experienced plastic surgeon is often difficult here, it is essential to turn to an expert.

Scar Correction

Scarring is different for each person. How scars form also depends on genetic predisposition. In particular, scars that have developed after accidents or C-section scars can be perceived as disturbing.
